The best time to visit Tosh Village is from April to June and from September to October. This month’s are considered the best months for trekking, as the routes are safe and the trail is dry. Also, the climate is favorable, neither too hot or too cold, or heavy rainfall and landslides.
To reach Tosh Village, you have to reach Barshani first from Kasol which is around 20 km. From Barshani the trek to the village is around 7-8km depending on the trek you have chosen. To reach the village for moderate trekkers with good stamina it will take around 4-5 hours.
But if you are new to the place, it is advised to take guided trekking tours to the village for safety purpose.
