One of the pouplar treks of the region is Kanamo Peak trek; it is the perfect trekking route as there are fewer crowds along this route. The trek to the Kanamo Peak starts from Kibber village near Kaza. The peak is located at a height of around 5970 meters above sea level and takes around 3-4 days for the trek to be completed.
The Pin Parvati Pass Trek is one of the famous and most challenging treks of the region. This trek connects the Parvati Valley with Kullu, though the rugged mountain terrain of Spiti Valley. The pass is situated at a height of 5319 meters above sea level.

For trekking in Kaza the best time to opt is from June to September when there is no snowfall, the roads are easily accessible, sky is clear and the weather condition is pleasing.
To reach Kaza tourists can opt for the Manali route, that takes you visa Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass. The route is open only from the months of June to October or when the weather condition is good.
From Shimla, tourists will have to travel via Kinnaur Valley, through the Reckong Peo and Karcham route to reach Kaza. This route is opened all-throughout the year.
